For this photo shoot i decided to portray the dance art form provided by the school. the photos both show the diversity and skill level in the dance classes. i wanted to have them on different levels for the second photo and i am pleased with the outcome of that decision. the way i captured the Annie Libovitz photo style was to change the pictures to black and white and leave the sides of the background showing. she did this in her dance photos often so i thought it would be appropriate in this case.

Location
For this shoot we were put in a location that is not normally used on campus when taking photos. With Nicole being on the desk for the kids to draw i wanted her to be "on the same level as them" without blending in. This is why i decided to have her sit down on the table rather than stand. In order to emphasize the kids drawing her i put a spotlight on Nicole but made sure that it shined brightest on the little girl in front. I am pleased with this photo but wish i had more time to shoot because i think i could have gotten some better shots.
